ORTHODONTICS

Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry that involves correcting tooth crowding and crooked teeth. Dr. David Kitahara has received extensive training in orthodontics for both children and adults.

What are invisible braces? The technical term for this is clear aligner therapy. Clear aligners are thin, clear plastic trays that are custom-fabricated to fit over your upper and lower teeth.
A series of such trays are fabricated using a computer program. Patients then wear each set of trays for a few weeks at a time. With each successive tray, small changes are made to the position of your teeth until the desired esthetics and function are achieved.
