COSMETIC DENTISTRY
We provide several cosmetic services including in-office bleaching, at-home bleaching kits, porcelain veneers, porcelain crowns, esthetic bonding procedures, and minor gum surgeries. Each cosmetic procedure is tailored to your specific needs and desires.

Teeth Whitening
Darkening that is a result of surface staining can be improved and your smile may be safely whitened using gels that remove such stains from the tooth. Darkening due to other causes, such as enamel wear, trauma, developmental defects and antibiotic stains may not resolve with whitening products and may be more effectively treated using other cosmetic procedures such as veneers.

An evaluation of your teeth and the diagnosis of the cause of your staining will be performed prior to treatment to determine whether you will benefit from bleaching procedures, as whitening procedures may not be right for everyone.
Our office offers several options for whitening your teeth:

Opalescence Boost In-Office Bleaching
Opalescence Boost is a 38% hydrogen peroxide whitening gel that is applied in-office. The procedure takes about 2 hours.

Opalescence At-Home Bleach (Rx Only)
Opalescence at-home whitening gel is a prescription bleach that ranges in strength from 10% to 35% peroxide. The gel is applied at home in custom whitening trays that are fabricated in our office to fit intimately over your teeth. Results can typically be expected in 1-2 weeks.

Go Whitening Strips (Rx Only)
Go Whitening Strips are stronger than over-the-counter products that you are able to buy in the store. Results can typically be expected in 1 week or more.

Over-the-counter products
A variety of effective and safe products can be purchased at drug stores, such as whitening strips and toothpastes. While you do not need a prescription for these products, it is recommended you speak to a dental professional before beginning the use of these products.

Veneers
Porcelain veneers are thin shells that are custom-fabricated in a dental laboratory and placed on the front surfaces of your teeth to improve their appearance. Veneers may be used to close gaps, to cover certain kinds of tooth stains, or to correct minor tooth shape defects.

Esthetic Bonding and Tooth-Colored Fillings
Our office offers tooth-colored resin materials to restore fractured or chipped teeth in certain situations. We also use this material to place fillings in teeth with cavities.
